Super Powers of Non-Fiction Authors

We are all here to guide each other Home to our Divine Selves. Coaching, therapy, and mentoring are ways we support our soulmates. For me, writing a book or contributing a chapter to an anthology elevates our brands, visibility, and credibility, which expands our impact by reaching more people.

These superpowers are essential to writing a book or chapter that captures the hearts and minds of the reader. Some are naturally and inherently part of us, and some are learned through our spiritual awakenings that change the trajectories of our lives.

To embody and live these powers, values, or principles is magic and they create magic in our lives.

Authenticity and Integrity

Authenticity and integrity go hand in hand, and it means that you stay true to your True Self. You are comfortable with who you are, and don’t judge yourself in any way. Also no people-pleasing and no hiding.

You see your soul’s journey beyond your human journey. You value and embrace your human journey, including your mistakes. You know who you are and you see your human experience for what it is: to serve your soul’s evolution, and you honor that.

When you tune into your heart and write from that place, your message is infused with powerful, high-vibrational energy. That’s why I don’t use AI, nor do I work with people who do.

Purpose

Authoring a solo book or a chapter in a multi-author book is intended to support your soul’s purpose and impact. Your experience is to help your soul clients to transcend their challenges.

Often our lives are disrupted by a cataclysmic event to discover our purpose. There are no coincidences in the Universe. Everything that happens, happens for us to fulfill our soul contracts.

Before we incarnate into our bodies in this life, we know what our purpose and soul contracts are, but forget all about it once we are born. Life guides us to experience events to find our soul’s purpose.

You inherently know that you are here for a reason and you seek to discover that. I find that our energetic blueprint in Human Design reveals our purpose. It gives us insight into how to incorporate our purpose into our business, life and the books we write.

Compassion and Forgiveness

A crucial step to being authentic is compassion, which happens naturally when we embrace forgiveness. Forgiving all the participants in your journey makes you feel grateful for the role they played in supporting you to fulfill your soul contract.

Forgiving yourself for mistakes, harming others, regrets, falling short, not achieving goals.

As you forgive yourself, you develop compassion for yourself and others who are going through what you have transcended. You want to help others. Combining your story with your new skills is fulfilling.

Self-Love

Authenticity is not possible without self-love. Self-acceptance of your challenges, self-appreciation for who you have become, and awe for who you really are, your True Self, form the foundation for unconditional self-love.

Inner freedom happens when you let go. Let go of the attachment to guilt, shame, fear, anger, resentment, disappointment, dissatisfaction, taking things personally, and beating yourself up. This allows self-love to bloom while self-blame and self-contempt dissipate.

Your heart is filled with love that radiates and becomes a magnet. Loving self-talk creates coherence between your heart and mind.

As your self-love grows, so does your self-worth and the knowing that you are unconditionally valuable to the expansion of the Universe.

And when you own your life experiences with love, you realize that your power lies in how your story helps others rewrite their stories.

Leadership

Leading out by writing about your journey shows that you are a leader. Leaders who dare to be authentic and brutally honest in their expression to lead others because they believe in the power of their stories, are rare.

The world needs leaders who are willing to be authentic and embrace their integrity, no matter what the popular opinions might be.

They lovingly guide others to unite around powerful ideas that serve humanity through their stories and teachings.

Courage

It takes tremendous courage to put yourself out there. Owning and expressing your story can mean that you run the risk of criticism and even ridicule.

Courageous authors fearlessly embrace the power of who they really are and express their experiences, values, and knowledge with the conscious intention of lovingly guiding others to embody the best version of themselves.

Storyteller

We love stories and we learn from other people’s stories. Our lives are a collection of stories. Some serve us, some don’t. As we change, our stories change. They go hand in hand. Stories have power because words have power.

Sharing your story in a book and becoming a bestselling author, gives you greater opportunities to tell your story to audiences on podcasts, summits and stages.

Vision

That’s why you must have a vision for your book. You have a vision of how this book can grow your business. You have a plan to leverage your book so that it can fulfill the vision.

Your return on investing your time, energy, and money comes from intentionally developing a system for leveraging your book. This includes a coaching program or course as an extension of your book to expand your impact and income.

Conclusion

Storytelling is a superpower on steroids when told with authenticity, integrity, compassion, love and purpose. Writing our stories is our soul’s expression of playing and expanding. Becoming an author fulfills our heart’s desire to express our souls’ evolution for the benefit of others.
